One Way To Create New Words

‘Bat’ is one word in the single-syllable soundset using the ‘b’ and ‘t’
    consonants.

Here are other examples: bit, but, bet, bot, boot, beat, beet, boat, bout,
    bite, bate.

Since the ‘gh’ is silent in ‘bought,’ you can include ‘bought’ in this
    soundset.

Now let’s consider the soundset using the consonants ’s’ and ‘t.’

Here you would have words like: sit, seat, soot, set, sat, site, sate, suit
    sight and sought.

To create new words in this soundset, you would take unused consonant
and-vowel combinations in this soundset: seet, sut, syt.

And then you would give them a meaning or meanings.

You could do this with every single-syllable soundset possible in the English language and you could do it with double-syllable and
    triple-syllable soundsets.

Take the word ‘bubble’ for an example of a double-syllable word from a
    double-syllable soundset.

Here are other examples of this soundset: babble, bible, bobble and
    bauble.

New words in this soundset could be: beeble, bibble, bebble and booble.

Now let’s look at a double-syllable soundset which has no existing words in the English language.

Consider the consonant-and-vowel combinations using the letters ‘b,’ ‘r,’
    ‘g’ and ‘l.’

Here are examples of new words: braggle, briggle bruggle, broggle, breggle, breegle, bryggle and broogle.

These are all new words which could have any meaning you want.

You could even add additional words by just using one ‘g.’

Or you could drop the ‘le’ and play with the single-syllable soundset of ‘b,’ ‘r’ and ‘g.’

Existing words in this soundset are brag and brig. You can make up new ones such as brug, breeg, breg and broog.

    Have fun creating new words!!
